Institute for Contemporary Art is managed by staff, but variety of tasks are realized by our collaborators, commissioned professionals, photographers, cameramen, translators, designers, webmasters, curators, fundraisers, accountants, technical assistance and hired students.

Before:

Ms. Branka Stipančić was the first director of SCCA - Zagreb, 1993-1996. She is an art historian, and curator. Since 1999 she is a free lance curator.


Ms. Jadranka Vinterhalter is an art historian, art critic, curator and editor, appointed Museum consultant by the Ministry of Culture, Republic of Croatia. She worked in the Institute 1994-2000. She is now curator in the Museum of Contemporary Art in Zagreb.

Ms. Ljiljana Kolešnik is an art historian and critic. She worked part time with SCCA in the very beginning 1993/94. She works in the Institute for Art History of the Faculty of Philosophy at the Zagreb University.


Ms. Branka Cvjetičanin worked with the Institute part time during 1999, as a grant writer, fundraiser and assistant.


Ms. Petra Golušić worked with us as art history student who assisted the Institute in administration and research. She is now an art historian.

After the registration of Soros Center for Contemporary art as the Institute for Contemporary Art, April 23, 1998, and due to the statuses of the new NGO, non-governmental, non-profit organization in culture, a General Assembly of the Institute for Contemporary Art has been organized December 8, 1998.
